What's the point of Hip Hop rappers sticking to the street code if they catch a case or are involved in one because of their affiliates? Don't y'all think the streets are a myth?
The streets don't play fair and at the same, it goes without saying Hip Hop is one of the best shows ever with how people act tough in the studio but when the Hip Hop police build a case they start snitching and telling on everybody in the crew.
The “street code” only seems to benefit the guilty parties. The guys that are actually guilty with something to lose are the only ones insisting on the street code.
I don't think Hip Hop artists should live by the street code since they are already earning legal money by the virtue of being in the entertainment business.
The point you guys miss about the whole snitching thing is if a rap artist they commit crimes WITH them (the street dudes), then turned around a being a snitch for his benefit.
Can't move without protection especially if you are that famous. That's why moving alone is way harder for many rappers on the come up and those established already.

In all honesty who wouldn't snitch to get out of a life sentence? Those who walk around acting hard is because they just haven't been in that situation.
When they get caught they won't hesitate to name everybody including dates, location, and everything.
