I don’t really think J. Cole is dissing mumble rappers.

He says he remembers when he used to be like them and gets where they are coming from.

It was more of dad talk and he was trying to tell them what they needed to hear.

If J. Cole is not dissing mumble rappers then why does he feel the need to look down on mumble rappers?

What's so special about J. Cole that he should down on other rappers?

Mumble rap is a business which generates money for rappers and J. Cole is clout chasing mumble artists like Lil Pump to gain more clout because mumble rap is taking his market share that's all.
