Has the year '2019' been a good year for both Zimdancehall and Zim Hip Hop music artists?

Do Zim Hip Hop female artists sometimes face criticism for being over the top or too explicit since there is some form of censorship in Zimbabwe?

Yes, the interesting thing, on the contrary, is Zim folks will watch music videos from artists like Cardi B, Nicki Minaj or Megan Thee Stallion doing the same.

But folks won't have the amount of criticism if a female Zim Hip Hop artist does the same.

Things are changing and they have been changing fast because of social media and social networks so I don't see how Zim Hip Hop music will be able to maintain cultural values.

As of now many Zim Hip Hop and Zimdancehall artists are really into adopting everything from Western culture.

The problem we discussing here is about Zim music critics who have double standards since more often than not people that castigate things in public are the ones watering the plants in private.

You are comparing Apples to Oranges. Cardi B, Nicki Minaj or Megan Thee Stallion derive their image from Western culture and that is not Chivanhu.

Zimbabwe's censorship is based on Chivanhu cultural norms, not American Western ways of doing things.
