As time goes on both independent and major record labels, will they still be useful for the next generation of music artists?
It's becoming easier and easier for recording artists to release their music and also to promote their songs on sosho media. Therefore, isn't this likely to render record companies useless?

Just because a music band/artist can get their music on Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, and Amazon music isn't something that guarantees longevity in the music business let alone a factor that can make them a household name.
What about networking and all that showbiz politics within the industry itself? Have you thought about that?
